The Harley-Davidson Men's H-D Operative Mesh Riding Shirt Jacket is the warm-weather riding shirt jacket for riders who don't want to choose between airflow and protection. An all-mesh construction in a classic plaid pattern maximises airflow across the full jacket while maintaining the visual profile of a riding shirt – the mesh is visible up close but reads as plaid at a distance. Tested and certified to meet abrasion, tear, and seam strength requirements under the relevant CE standard, with D3O® Ghost™ armour at the shoulders and elbows for impact protection.

D3O® Ghost™ Armour

Impact protection comes from D3O® Ghost™ armour at the shoulders and elbows – consistent with the D3O Ghost protection found across the H-D Operative Mesh Riding Gloves and the broader H-D protective range. D3O Ghost is a rate-sensitive material: soft and flexible during normal movement, stiffening instantly on impact to absorb and disperse energy. The Ghost designation means it's thin enough to be virtually invisible in the jacket profile, with no bulk or stiffness in normal use.

Rider-Ready Details

A hidden snap-down collar stays flat under a helmet rather than folding up at speed – consistent with the H-D riding-ready casual range. Reflective material enhances visibility in low-light conditions without compromising the plaid aesthetic. An interior zippered pocket keeps essentials secure on the move. Minimal branding throughout – a woven flag label on the front and an embroidered Harley-Davidson name on the back yoke – keeps the identity present without dominating the plaid.
